Orlando KIA Center – The Orlando Solar Bears suffered a tough loss Monday night falling to the Florida Everblades 1-0 in an exciting and hard-played ECHL hockey game at the KIA Center in downtown Orlando. Any loss is hard, but this one seemed more difficult due to the hard play by the Solar Bears.
Orlando – The Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League (AHL) call up goalie Michael Simpson. The announcement was made Saturday, November 9 by the Orlando Solar Bears.
Orlando KIA Center – The Atlanta Gladiators slap another home “L” on the Orlando Solar Bears win/loss column Wednesday night in the KIA Center dropping the Bears from #5 at the beginning of the regular season to #10 in the standings with 3 wins, 4 losses, and 1 OTL (Overtime Loss).
Orlando KIA Center – In traditional pirate fashion, the Savannah Ghost Pirates stole Monday night’s home game against our Orlando Solar Bears 6-5.
With all the action any hockey game promises to deliver, the game between the Orlando Solar Bears and the Jacksonville Icemen last Saturday night (Nov. 2, ’24) was no exception! Winning 5-1, the Solar Bears gave their fans everything they could want: fast skating, plenty of scoring and fights… a lot of fights!
