Fox News host Sean Hannity has purchased a $23.5 million waterfront estate in Manalapan, Florida, marking another move in his major relocation from New York to the Sunshine State.
Earlier this year, Hannity moved his residence and his broadcast operations to Florida when he moved into his $5.3 million townhome in West Palm Beach. Now Hannity has purchased a new property, situated on a nearly two-acre barrier island in Palm Beach County, boasts frontage on both the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
Built in 1990, the approximately 12,000-square-foot residence features eight bedrooms and ten and a half bathrooms. Recent renovations include updated bathrooms, new flooring, and the installation of impact-resistant sliding windows. The estate offers a range of amenities, such as a large dock, an outdoor pool, a wine room, and a rooftop observation terrace.
The property was initially listed for $29 million in February 2024 and was relisted for $25.95 million in October before Hannity’s purchase. The acquisition follows Hannity’s sale of his Long Island estate in June 2024 for $12.7 million, as he transitioned his broadcasting operations to Florida.
Hannity now broadcasts both his radio show, “The Sean Hannity Show,” and his television program, “Hannity,” from studios in West Palm Beach. He expressed his satisfaction with the move, stating in January, “We are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida. I am out. I am done. I’m finished. New York, New York, goodbye.”
“It’s funny because I actually went out a number of days and met a lot of people,” Hannity remarked on his show. “There wasn’t one person that didn’t like me. I’m used to being hated everywhere I go, so it was a refreshing change of pace.”
Manalapan has seen significant real estate activity in recent years, including Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison’s purchase of a $173 million oceanfront estate in 2022. Hannity’s relocation reflects a recent trend of high-profile individuals moving to Florida from northern states, attracted by its favorable tax policies and political climate.
This purchase adds to Hannity’s multi-state real estate portfolio and underscores his commitment to establishing Florida as his primary residence. The property’s extensive amenities and prime location offer a luxurious lifestyle in a region known for its exclusivity.
As Hannity continues his broadcasting endeavors from Florida, his move may influence others considering relocation to the state, potentially impacting its real estate market and demographic composition.
