We at FMN are always looking for something unique and fun to do, and this place fits the bill. Do you want to experience the excitement of a safari but don’t want to travel to Africa? Wild Florida may be the answer you’ve been looking for. Located in east central Florida’s Osceola County near Orlando, the Wild Florida park offers Drive Thru Safaris, Airboat Adventures, walking tours, a gator park, and much more.

  Roll down the windows as the animals mosey on over to look eye to eye with you and your family.  The safari tour expands across 170 acres of untouched scenic landscapes, as the wildlife and safari park presents a unique opportunity to bring you up close and personal with wild animals such as giraffes, zebra, eland antelope, scimitar oryx, American bison, mouflon sheep, and more! As you travel down our four-mile “unbeaten path,” you and your family can encountering wild animals up close… just feet away from animals you normally only see on TV.

At Gator Park, you and your family can get up close and personal with over 200 native and exotic animals! Take your time exploring their fascinating habitats and learning about their daily lives. Grab a rod and go Gator Fishing!  Well, not technically but the gators will be grateful for you to feed them their favorite treats using one of the park’s gator rods.

Don’t like gators? Actually, there’s plenty of other animals in this part of Wild Florida.  Inside the  Park, you and your family will be able to get up close and personal with more than 200 native and exotic animals.  Take your time exploring the interesting habitats and heritage of animals to get an inside look at how they live every day. Walk into our Bird Aviary and feed parakeets, parrots, and other exotic pheasants their favorite treats. Visit the Petting Zoo and make new furry friends, big and small, like Juniper and Birch, pigs who love to bathe in their pool and be petted by guests.

Want to go on a ride through the Everglades without actually driving there?  You’re in luck. No Florida experience is complete without seeing Florida’s beautiful wetlands by airboat. Orlando Airboat tours provides an up close and personal experience for your family, exploring the marshes and native wetland habitats. You’ll experience the natural habitat of alligators, wading birds, and the many other wild animals that call Central Florida home. Admission and Info

Florida resident general admission is $24 for adults and $19 for children 12 and under.  That’s a 29% discount vs.the non-resident adult price of $34. The park is open Monday-Saturday 9AM – 6PM, and reservations are accepted. While there is food available for purchase at the on-site restaurant, the Chomp House Grill, guests are welcome to bring their own packed lunches and drinks. Patrons report that the Safari Park takes at least 60 to 90 minutes. There’s plenty to do at Wild Florida to make this a full-day adventure. Wild Florida is located in Kenansville, in southeastern Osceola County.
