United Launch Alliance CEO Tory Bruno Tweeted (or X’d) today that the first launch of ULA’s Vulcan rocket will likely be delayed.

The highly anticipated mission, which will include the launch of Astrobotic’s lunar lander Peregrine, was scheduled to launch on Dec. 24th. Following a wet dress rehearsal (WDR) yesterday, ULA has apparently discovered some issues with the ground systems. While Bruno described the issues as “routine”, he stated he wants another full WDR before attempting the launch. That will likely push the launch to the next window of January 8th, he said.

More information will follow as it becomes available.
